Hi,

First of all, thanks you for the website wich is greatly made, free, simple, clear. I discover so many good music.

I was curious to know how did you record these tracks? By emulator or from the original gear?

Little of everything, depending on what the original system was and the game. Mostly through emulators when possible (mainly to maintain clarity). For some of the MIDI stuff, I've used actual hardware synths.

Megadrive music for example?

That's almost always (except in some rare instances which crash the playback engine) done through Foobar's Game Emu Player plugin (e.g. foo_gep).

Thanks you sir,

Then the result is pretty neat! I make chip music and wonder if to buy the original gear is really relevant.
